Djupvatn, The Atlantic road & Ålesund

The stillness of the mountains and the fresh, crisp air made it feel like a winter wonderland, even in summer. After enjoying the view, we drove towards the Atlantic Road, a stunning coastal route with impressive bridges linking small islands across the open sea. Waves crashed against the rocks as we crossed, creating a dramatic scene.

We continued to Ålesund, a charming coastal town with colourful houses and beautiful harbour views. The day ended at a peaceful fjord campsite, surrounded by calm waters and towering, snow-capped mountains reflecting the soft evening light. Nature here is simply breathtaking.
