the perfect Icelandic wake-up call. Then we visited the Museum of Viking Guðrið Thorbjörnsdóttir, learning about her brave journeys across oceans (feeling quite lazy in comparison).
Later, we admired Hvítserkur, the dramatic rock sculpture that looks like a drinking dragon standing in the sea. Finally, we ended the day shooting photos of the famous Kirkjufellsfoss, with its waterfall flowing perfectly in front of iconic Kirkjufell mountain – a view so pretty it almost felt fake. A day full of warmth, history, and postcard moments.
