Whale Watching, Midsommar Lunch & Akureyri Visit

with whales splashing, waving, and generally showing off just outside the harbour. After that, we enjoyed a cosy “Midsommar” Swedish lunch, complete with herring, potatoes, and smiles. In the afternoon, we visited family in charming Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, before heading south to camp near Glaumbær, surrounded by turf houses and peaceful countryside vibes. A day full of nature, culture, and a gentle rocking feeling after watching whales all morning.
