Glacier & Diamond beach

then took a short hike to see Svínafellsjökull up close.

In the afternoon, we joined a boat tour on the Vatnajökull glacier lagoon – quiet, surreal, and full of drifting icebergs. Afterward, we stopped at Diamond Beach, where chunks of ice lay scattered across the black sand.

A quick food stop before dinner, but our planned campsite turned out to be swarmed with mosquitos – Packed again to found a new, and better spot to end the day.
