Helikopter, Geysir, Gullfoss & Hot spring

  • After some issues with the cars, we finally got a decent upgrade. Stocked up on groceries at Bónus and had lunch near Hafnarfjörður. A beautiful drive around Þingvallavatn took us to Mosskógar Camping, where we had a BBQ and spent our first night in a rooftop tent.

    June 15, 2023 – Hot Springs & Golden Circle
    The day started with a helicopter ride to a remote mountain hot spring near Reykjavík – peaceful and unforgettable. Then came a fun ATV tour with a small group, full of speed and great views. In the afternoon, we met up with Katarina and Michael to visit Geysir and Gullfoss, finishing the day with a relaxing soak in Hrunalaug hot spring. Dinner was late – around 11 PM – but worth the wait.
