Horseshoe Bend, The river curves like a perfect horseshoe around towering red cliffs that rise steeply against the clear blue sky. The view took our breath away—especially under the desert sun, where temperatures were above 40 degrees Celsius.

After the heat, it was pure relief to jump into the clear, cool water of Lake Powell. The water lay calm and inviting, exactly what we needed. Refreshed and recharged, we set off toward Bryce Canyon, where new adventures and spectacular rock formations await.
