San Francisco
June 25, 2025 - San Francisco – A Day of Fun, Farewells, and Crêpes
Our morning in San Francisco started sweetly with a fresh breakfast at the Pier 39 bakery—coffee, pastries, and a view of the sea lions doing their thing. After a little souvenir shopping, we entered full tourist mode: battling zombies, riding a rollercoaster in the 7D shooting experience, and then soaring above the Golden Gate in the wild flying 7D "San Francisco in Air" ride.
Time for hugs and goodbyes to Natali, Sebastian, and Ole—thank you for sharing your vacation with us. Great time together.
We continued on foot to buzzing Chinatown, where we found a packed local restaurant (always a good sign) and had an amazing Chinese lunch, elbows-to-elbows with the locals. Then came the iconic Powell Street cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf, followed by round two of Pier 39: this time for delicious crêpes in the sun.
On the way out of the city, we made a quick detour to Lombard Street—no access for campers, but a few good camera shoots—and then over to a very special movie memory: Mrs. Doubtfire’s house.
We ended the day at a quiet RV campsite south of San Jose, sipping a well-deserved glass of wine. Thanks to Malene and César for the bottle—cheers to new memories!
