Mariposa grove and Bass lake
June 23, 2025 - Afternoon – Among Giants
In the afternoon, we made our way to Mariposa Grove. A 3.5 km hike led us deep into the land of the Sequoias – massive, ancient trees that made us feel small in the best possible way. Quiet forest paths, earthy scents, and the awe of nature’s skyscrapers. Lakeside & Classic Comfort - As the sun dipped, we settled the camper by Bass Lake, where the air was cooler but calm. Dinner was all-American and absolutely perfect – burgers, fries, and the kind of retro diner vibes that feel straight out of a road trip movie.
